  NaNoWriMo Out in the Atlantic Ocean a red mist appears. At first, a research center sends out a team of scientists in a boat, after a week an island suddenly appears. After much debate from high-ranking officials and scientists and other world leaders, America, being the island lays just within our waters, sends a team of scientists and military officers to the island. Soon after arriving on the island the team goes into a forest and is turned around. After walking for days, suddenly coming into a desert. After 2 days, they stumble upon a building that resembles something of a temple in the desert. It is decorated in weird symbols and paintings. One of the scientists touches this symbol and the next thing he knows he is lying on the floor of the building. He soon discovers he has been transported back in time, to a world full of fantasy creatures and wicked rulers. Not going all the way into my story...he will have only one shot of getting back to his time. If he fails he'll be trapped in that time.
